Terms of Service

The agreement between you and PowerPlay Systems Inc. (“Attestr”) governing your use of the Attestr platform.

Effective date: March 1, 2026

01

Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Attestr platform — including the website, dashboard, and API — you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are using Attestr on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these terms.

If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the platform.

02

Description of Service

Attestr provides cryptographic compliance infrastructure for fraud operations. The platform includes:

  • Attestation API — ingest fraud decisions and generate tamper-proof, hash-chained ledger records
  • Evidence Packets — cryptographically sealed, examiner-ready bundles of decision records
  • Dashboard — web interface for viewing decisions, evidence, and anomaly alerts
  • Verification Engine — open-source tool for independently verifying evidence packets
03

Accounts & Access

You must create an account to use the Attestr dashboard and API. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials, including API keys and HMAC secrets.

You agree to notify us immediately at security@attestr.io if you suspect unauthorized access to your account. Attestr is not liable for losses caused by unauthorized use of your credentials.

Each account is scoped to a single tenant. You may not share credentials across organizations or allow third parties to access your account without our written consent.

04

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use Attestr for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable regulations
  • Attempt to tamper with, reverse-engineer, or circumvent the cryptographic integrity of ledger records
  • Interfere with or disrupt the platform, its servers, or connected networks
  • Exceed reasonable API usage limits or use the platform in a way that degrades service for other tenants
  • Submit data that contains malware, viruses, or other harmful code
  • Resell or redistribute the platform without written authorization

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

05

Your Data

You own your data. Attestr does not claim ownership of the decision records, metadata, or evidence packets you create through the platform.

You grant Attestr a limited license to process, store, and cryptographically seal your data solely for the purpose of providing the service. This includes generating hash chains, digital signatures, and Merkle proofs over your records.

You may export your full ledger data at any time. If you terminate your account, we will make your data available for export for 30 days following termination, after which it may be deleted.

For details on how we handle your data, see our Privacy Policy.

06

Cryptographic Guarantees & Limitations

Attestr generates tamper-evident records using SHA-256 hash chains, Ed25519 digital signatures, and Merkle tree proofs. These mechanisms make unauthorized modification of ledger records cryptographically detectable.

Attestr does not guarantee the accuracy or truthfulness of the data you submit. The platform attests to the integrity and provenance of records — it certifies that a record has not been altered since ingestion, not that the underlying decision was correct.

The verification engine is provided as open-source software under the MIT License. It is offered “as is” without warranty of any kind.

07

Service Levels & Availability

We aim to maintain high availability of the Attestr platform but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Planned maintenance windows will be communicated in advance when possible.

Service-level commitments, including uptime targets and support response times, are defined by your plan tier and any applicable service-level agreement (SLA). Enterprise customers may negotiate custom SLAs.

Current platform status is available at attestr.io/status.

08

Pricing & Payment

Attestr offers multiple plan tiers with different feature sets and usage limits. Pricing is published on our website and may be updated from time to time.

Paid plans are billed monthly or annually, as selected at signup. Fees are non-refundable except as required by law. If you exceed your plan's usage limits, we will notify you and may apply overage charges or request a plan upgrade.

We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice. Existing subscriptions will be honored through the end of the current billing period.

09

Termination

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting support@attestr.io. Upon termination, your access to the dashboard and API will be revoked.

We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms, fail to pay applicable fees, or if we are required to do so by law. We will provide reasonable notice when possible.

Termination does not affect the validity or verifiability of evidence packets already generated. Existing packets remain independently verifiable using the open-source verification engine.

10

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Attestr and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform.

Our total liability for any claim arising under these terms shall not exceed the fees you paid to Attestr in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Attestr is not liable for regulatory penalties, audit findings, or legal actions resulting from the content of your fraud decisions. The platform provides cryptographic integrity for your records — regulatory compliance is your responsibility.

11

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless PowerPlay Systems Inc., its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the platform, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

12

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario, located in Toronto.

13

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email to registered account holders or via a notice on our website at least 30 days before they take effect.

Your continued use of the platform after the effective date of updated terms constitutes acceptance of those terms. If you do not agree to the updated terms, you must stop using the platform and terminate your account.
